About IDF

INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION

The Integrated Development Foundation (IDF) was created in 1994 to promote the sustainable and integrated development of disadvantaged urban and rural populations in the North-West region of Cameroon. In 2024, IDF celebrates its 30th anniversary. For three decades, IDF has supported vulnerable people, local development and entrepreneurship.

Since 2016, the socio-economic and political crisis in the region has strongly impacted IDF’s activities, leading to school dropouts, orphans, and economic and infrastructure degradation. New humanitarian actors have emerged, and many residents have fled to other regions of Cameroon or Nigeria. Despite a recent lull and the State’s efforts to restore peace, challenges remain…
